Default Walleye at Long Lake south of Boyle?

I usually fish for perch on the north end by the narrows or around the boat lauch with some sucess. I have no problem catching the walleye during the summer months from June to September on the east side but I can't find them during the winter and have never even caught one through the ice out there. I know they are there. Summer time they are usually in about 20 ft of water, on the ice thou they seam to desert the area as my fish camera and hook can attest to. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

THX

I only fish for the perch in there during the winter, pulling the hooks away from the pike......But on one day I had a pig of a walleye come through and keep on going and that was in 6 feet of water. Same here in summer... easy to catch.
