Default Looking for ideas on keeping big fish

I own a Colorado pontoon boat that is a lot of fun to use, but I'm thinking of taking it out this year onto some lakes with bigger fish, and I'm looking for ideas on how to subdue a big pike or wally when I don't have a good surface to use my fish club.

Don't want the fish to act as a possessed trolling motor, lol

You could always release the bigger ones and keep something a size you can manage.

Maybe I'll discover a new hair product made with pike slime and get a deal on Dragon's Den!

Brandon, if I get a minimum size pike, I plan on keeping and eating it!

I've drifted in my pontoons chasing salmon. In my opinion even a pink is much scrappier than anything we have in our waters.

I just used a large folding net like this

Im assuming you will be "trolling" for them? dont forget the water down here gets pretty warm in the summers so they wont last long if you bonk them anyways

I've caught big pike from a belly boat before. It's a lot of fun!

In my case I was fishing close enough to shore that I just worked my way over while fighting the fish and got it up on shore.
