Default Alberta Trout Highway Book

Hi Guys,

I am desperately looking for a copy of this book. Everyone keeps talking about it. Any pointers?

Thanks.

Barry's Book has been out of print for a while, If you search posts you will see most shops have sold out also some time ago. It has quickly become a collectors item. We had a Fly tyers Garage Sale over the summer and was able to get over $150 ea for a couple of copies. Check out Amazon they do appear there.

Good luck in your search.

I picked mine up just a couple of years ago for $38 bucks at Bass Pro. They were in the fly shop behind the counter. If I didn't ask I wouldn't have found it.

This place says they have it. Wolverinegt.ca

Also they may have it at the sportsman show.

Actually I think you guys need to buy 270WinMag a beer, not me. See post #5, I missed it too. Actually never mind, he didn't provide the easy link I did so he can still come but has to be the designated driver.

I was lucky enough to get a copy from Wolverine. Read the whole book in one day. To say I've got the itch now would be a supreme understatement!

Thanks to the Calgary Public Library I was able to get my hands on the book. It is held in a locked room, only allowed out with permission. What a fantastic read. It definitely deserves it place as one of the top fly fishing books for Alberta.

Thanks to Don Anderson I now have a copy. It is a fantastic read. The sections on the trout, and trout fishing are the best. In particular the portion on fish managment was the most educational. I had no idea the impact of of not practicing C&R or fishing with bait could have.
