Default tapping question.

Hi all if I trapped years ago alittle bit do I have to challenge the exam now to trap again these day or are people grandfathered in . We mostly shot coyotes with a varmit rifle and trapped rats .

Welcome to the forum.

It should only take a quick call to F&W to find out for sure. I'm guessing that there's be some stipulations specific to some individual cases. If you do call, could you post what they said to the thread?

I had a resident trappers licence in the 70's and when I called F&G I was not in the system. Now I have to get new licence.
My cousin hasn't trapped since the 90's but he was in the system so he got grandfathered in.
Simple call to F&G and they can tell you if your in the system or not.
