Default Warning to anyone accessing gull at wilsons

just got on there and found two tire holes right off shore. Looks like someone busted through an ice heave. Two guy coming back from the south had confirmed it. Went around to the north and then back south and it seemed ok. Be careful though.

Yup, I was one of those guys, we had crossed it before first light without any issues. Another guy drove across the lake from brownlows area and followed our tracks back out and broke through. Its not deep water there but its a fairly large area but you couldn't tell with all the fresh snow. Guy was lucky he was able to back out of it as it was only his front end that went down. We also found another spot where it looked like someone broke through trying to cross an ice heave further out towards the point to the south of Wilsons launch. Be careful out there if you're heading out to that area...

Well look at that. I met another member here and didn't even know it

I spent the afternoon North of wilsons. Fishing wasn't bad. Managed a half dozen hammer handles and a half dozen small perch. Didn't run into anymore heaves but the snow is deep in spots. It's tough going, even with 4wd.

Wilsons is on the east. It's south of meridian beach.

Hunter Trav: no worries, dude. I'm out there almost every weekend. If you see the ol' black Chevy stop an say hi.
