Default newell lake access

hey guys just wondering what is the best way to access jackfish bay .never been to newell so not sure what is the best way ...... THANKS

Drive past the turnoff to kinbrook island and take the secound right after hitting the gravel road follow it to the lake and there you are.

i have 2 walleye tags im looking to fill up there tomorrow and have for dinner tomorrow night, sure hope i can find one

sounds like my little man is coming with us tomorrow, if someone has the ice conditions for the bay could you please give me a heads up, i'm careful when driving on i just don't want to find a soft spot someone knows about, good luck everyone enjoy your day

Southeast corner of the lake near outlet is known to be soft and thin.

Come on at scalehouse as Wayne says. Lots of good ice as we are on it as I type. Follow the tracks and you should be good.

I was in the north end just outside riddleback. Fished from 4-6 pm, seen a few whitefish on the cam and one pike that was being stubborn. When 5:00 hit I had four pike on the ice in about 5 minutes. All small but it was exciting. And they were biting deep, 10-12 feet.
