I totally agree. From what i hear your supposed to re-wrap the fish with moist paper towel/ towel every so often... My fish will be screwed. I never did it. Atleast i got the measurements... Make a replica. Waste of a trophy fish though.

Cover the fish in Borox first. Still wouldn't freeze it for too long though. Borox acts as an estringant and keeps the colors looking good

For my family 14 1/2 inches for lesser slave lake, got him mounted up. To bad we didnt have a good scale to weigh him, we were sure he was over the 2 pound mark though.

Can still catch Big Perch from Utikuma , just have to look for them, sometime's alot of hole's, Moving we call them JUMBO's / HUMPYS was good last weekend but needed sled if youre were going to have any kind of searching going on .

Probably was. I grew up perch fishing at Pine Lake and can remember catching a few 12-13 inches. This would have been in the mid to late nineties.
