Was out today (mrng)......fishing was very slow. Lots of ice (20ish inches) and snow. Few trucks out.....but I wouldn't.....used a quad which was fine......but snow is close to too deep for the quad. Trucks were staying to one single path. We were trying shrimp and powerbait......maybe corn, marshmellows, maggots would be better?

Used maggots lots of times....just didn't have any today. Shrimp doesn't usually let us down.....but everyone has an off day from time to time.

Heard another truck went through the ice at the narrows on Sunday. Didn't sink just dropped the front end. On Saturday ice was 16 inches, bottom half good ice top half white wished I had not drove out.
