I gambled on the wrong one, not sure what THC personnel are doing, but the stock isn't going up.

I'm curious about what data you guys are using to evaluate/value these companies. What dollar value are you using for the total market potential? What profit margins are you assuming? Are you assuming these companies are going to have a monopoly on the Canadian market? Have you looked at what has happened in weed legal states to get some idea of how things might shake out ??? Just curious as I haven't really seen any real in depth analysis of the segment.

None of this is applicable to the pot stocks. It is pure speculation at this moment, lol! The reason why these stocks are going up now is because the large liquor distributors are thinking of buying into it. Like the Canopy one. The rest are just a speciulations.

You know, before I bought into canopy, I did do the calcs comparing revenue from Colorado sales per capita to Canada.
I can't remember then numbers now but I remember canopy was a sell at $12.
I rode it to $15.lol
But it's a perfect storm. Cons like it for the revenue, libs like it cuz they made it happen, nip love it cuz it's pot.
It's a pyramid scheme and no one lost money yet.

Only one I’m in is Tetra Bio Pharma. They’re going after DIN (drug identification numbers). and are a long ways ahead of the few others. They’re currently in phase 3 for their smokable product. I like their play lot as it could legitimize the medical market. Hoping for that insurance money!
Most Dr s aren’t that keen on prescribing something with zero quality control, efficacy etc
Have a look at Gw pharma when they got approval for their epilepsy medicine...

Well that was getting too rich even for my taste, lol! Sold my position in Canopy this morning at $58.50... bought at $15.30....
I think it run it course and now just getting into the pure high risk territory. I possibly will regret this move but better be safe than sorry here. I’m still very happy with the gain.
Good luck to you guys!

More hype is coming your way boys. The people who own WEED are preparing to go public with another of their creation - Canopy River. Suppose to start trading this coming Thursday if I’m not mistaken.
The owner of WEED is also involved in another company that started trading last week at 0.48. It closed at $1.17 on Friday after going as high as $1.60 on Friday morning...
Again, this is a high risk- high reward scenario. Use the money that you can afford to loose....
Good luck guys!
PS. If you decide to take my advise and end up making money- don’t forget to send me a small $5 bill. I prefer a small bill than big thank you!
Good luck again!

My guy tried to talk me into Canopy July '16 @ $3 and change. 68 bucks last week. 105 grand ROI in 2 years. Ah well. Did buy Hydropothecary last summer @ $3.10, it's @ $7.70ish & I still own it. 115% in a few months, crazy days. Good luck, boys!!

Dunno, they raised 17mils so far and that is not enough to for any decent acquisition. The Canopy River raised over 100 mils..
Its a crap shoot, either one of those. My position as of right now - I will put around 10K into each of them and will watch it like a hawk, lol! At the first sign that either one of them is going down or even sideways - I run like hell from the holly water, lol!
There will be definetly some hype around it, that’s for sure.

Good Luck

No problem, hope you won’t blame me later, lol!
Take a look at Tilray, this one is going completely NUTS! 30%up yesterday and over 50% up today so far! It started trading on nasdaq a month ago at $17.. today it is at $240!!! And no income! Pure hype and speculation. If you got in around 20-40 bucks then just sit tight and enjoy the ride until the music stops... then run for the chair! But if it drops, it should stay above $50..
This comp surpassed the American Airline and a few more in valuations. CRAZY!

It shouldn’t, they raised way more money, over 100 mil. But who knows! The ausa went as high as $16 earlier just to crash down later...

This bubble is showing plenty of similarities to what happened to tech stocks in 2000, or Bitcoin last December.

Not so fast buddy, not so fast! Lol! It did go up to $11 something dollars and then dropped down to 7. It is trading around $8 mark as of a few minutes ago. I was thinking of throwing a few G’s into this one but I will sit and wait a bit more... I wanna see the trading pattern of this one.
Do you see what’s happening to Tilray?
