This is why you clean the snow off your car roof..
This isn't my car or video. Just a great example of why to take the minute or two to clean the snow off the car.

My service van is 9'4" tall. Ain't happening.
On any vehicle that I can reach without a ladder I clean it off thoroughly, one has to draw the line dragging out a ladder to use on an icy street.

Link seems to work. It's a facebook clip. Public can view it without a facebook membership.

Reminds me of the time a hard top came off a Corvette right in front of me on the highway. Its trajectory was headed right for the windshield. I was fully expecting it to catch me and my passenger in the teeth.
By some miracle it ended up being pushed down, like by an invisible hand, directly in the middle of the lane, so I could straddle it without needing to swerve.

Nope, some people are their own worst enema's. I caught the typo, but decided to leave it anyways
Same type of person that stands around like a zombie when emergency action needs to take place. Great mugging victim!

I use a Stihl backpack blower. I didn't have a single snowflake on my rig when I towed a 30' flatdeck trailer loaded with equipment behind a tandem axle dump truck.

I got one of those foam bladed Garret extendable handle snow removers for my car. It's great for getting snow off the roof, etc. I can actually reach the show easily, and make progress getting it off, as the blade is wide and high... The blade swivels, making it easy to just pull the snow off.
I think I saw that Cambodian Tire has them on sale in their latest flier.

Had this happen to me following a gravel crusher. Big rock came flying slow motion right through the windshield into seat. No one was injured. However the windshield was about Million pieces. Weird driving 100km with no windshield in December. Replaced windshield couple hours later.

Oh man that would be chitty. Long way away from nowhere looks like.
My trucks are always in the garage, only thing I clean off is dust.

It's pure laziness not dustin off the auto (except Cabers situation) and should be a BIG fine. Was at an intersection the other day and the vehicle next to me was completely covered, driver & passenger windows too. My buddy jumped out and brushed it off for her and yelled at her to smarten up. Told him he's lucky she didn't call the cops on us
