A number of years in a row now, applying in 4 different zones, and no tag again. Really miss those hunts.

I drew with a sponsor. Pretty stoked to be able to go home and do a family weekend of whitetail hunting again!

I hear you . Been 9 years for Elk and 6 for moose. We have good luck archery elk and moose so not is all lost. But the zones that have some good trophy moose and elk only on a draw. Can't make good soup from anthers anyway. lol.

Sask res didn't get drawn for anything this year. Got a goat tag last year so not to many tears haha. Hopefully can put a lot of my time into a big whitetail. Good luck to everyone who got drawn!

My friend and I put in together in 2015, got drawn and both shot nice bucks. Applied every year since and nothing. Was a great time and looking forward to going back but won’t be this year.

Good luck with everyone that gets drawn!

Default Draw

Moose in several zones,(Super A)=0
Antlered Mule Deer, several zones (Super A)=0
Anterless Mule Deer,several zones (A)=0

I'm ok with it.
Now I have more time for fishing, birds and whitetail.
Good luck and safe hunting for those who got that long awaited draw tag.

Nothing for us on elk, moose, mule deer or anterless mule deer. pool C to super a in these

I think pronghorn super a and a few years may be a mid july draw date. I havent shot one of those in 20 plus years.

I figuredthis is where this was going ow with the legacy priority , hence my cabin purchase on the forest edge.

Just curious why it took so long for u to be drawn.do you only apply in one zone for either sex or maybe not many tags alloted for that zone?

Haven't hunted Sask for 5 years now. Sure used to enjoy those trips. I am sure some of the small town businesses notice a drop of income by less non resident canadians hunters around. our group would vary from 7-12 guys. we would drop a lot of money on hotel, food/drink, fuel etc in the week we were there. Hotel owners always asked us if we were coming back next year. Many years I never shot a deer but met lots of nice people along the way.

Some years only a couple zone choices...but tough to pull a tag when there are 10 or 25 tags only.

As much as i hate our draw structure....i cant complain. I got drawn for farmland moose in 2012 and again in 2017. and mulies seems to be every 4or5 years. But a guy has to play the number game with tags in bigger zones imo.

Sure hope they start applying priority points for us non-resident Canadians. Used to head out for a week in October to bowhunt Whitetails. Maybe not the best time to hunt deer, but it sure was fun. As it stands now, with the family first pools and despite applying in four different units for many years, we won't ever get drawn.

If my friend that lives in Saskatchewan is not a family member, can he still be my sponsor? I've applied for a whitetail tag there the last 2 years solo and haven't drawn a tag.

won't give you the same preference that a family member will.....may as well just apply on your own and he can buy a licence if you are lucky.
