Learn or teach your children to shoot left handed with a RH bolt, been doing that for 50 years no problem.

you can either train yourself to change your dominant eye, or learn to shoot left handed

I'm this.
What's the problem ? It's actually kick *****. Strong hand/arm supports the front of the rifle
Have 4 ish lefties and like 13-15 righties. I shoot them all just fine.

I'm the same way, I just shoot left handed, easier to see through the scope.

my 14 year old is like that ever since he was little I tried correcting it back then but never worked, tried a left handed bolt and he never liked it so he just shoots left handed with a right handed bolt yet hes right handed with everything else.

I shoot left handed and it feels totally natural even though I'm right handed.

When I learnt to shoot I shot right, it wasn't until I was in my late teens that I shouldered the gun left because I felt I could see better. It felt goofy at first but I've been shooting left ever since. I have mostly left hand guns but I practice shooting both ways. This was effective last year when I had to shoot my deer right handed with a left gun. If I would have taken the time to rotate by body and shoulder the gun left the buck would have scurried further into the bush. I think it's good to be able to shoot both ways, keeps you quick and versatile and not dependant on a certain type of rifle. You can't shoot a bullpup variant left unless you want hot brass in the face. I don't have one nor do I desire to but if you can shoot both ways it's an option.

I feel fortunate to be right eye dominant and right handed as far as shooting my rifles. However, it's weird as I yield a hockey stick left handed, a baseball bat right, and can shoot my handguns either way. Can't shoot a rifle left handed though.

I pretend I'm a rightie.
Not an issue with pistols and semi rifles, a bit of an issue with some bolt actions if shooting standing, no issue with prone.

This is what I go with as well, with no problems at all. I guess I've been going this route since my dad started me as a kid, so why change it.
With my bow though, I had to go lefty, which was a weird feeling at first. These days it feels natural...which is what they told me would happen at Jim-Bows.

You can try a lever too. Much easier to work one of those with your non dominant hand than a bolt. If you practice enough doing it left handed a bolt will become second nature even if it's awkward at first.

My dad lost sight in his right eye in a tractor accident but he's right-handed. He just shoots right handed rifles left-handed

Which can be acceptable for shooting rifles and handguns, but it is a handicap when wing shooting with a shotgun, where shooting with both eyes is a significant advantage.

Or
Have a custom cross-over stock that allows you to shoulder the gun right handed and look through the scope with your left eye.........Harold
