Default First came the heat...now thunderstorms?

Hoping the garden survives. Looks likes storms lining up around. Some building over Calgary right now.

I'm happy it's cooling down a bit and I can open the windows and get a breeze blowing through my place. I'm worried about the potential for damaging hail, or lightning strikes though.

Looked like a tornado forming over spruce Meadows, went to get phone to film and first hail shot hit. 50 holes in siding. Biggest hail bigger than a golf ball.

Pretty common trend to get thunder storms after a heat wave

It’s just the way Mother Nature wants to do things

It was nasty. Neighbours have punctured siding. Will need to have the roof and stucco checked tomorrow.

My siding is done. Neighbour has a couple broken windows. Just another day in Cow Town.
