The power grid can barely handle it when everyone turns their AC on. Plugging in 20 million vehicles a day should be a cinch.

By then Canada will be bankrupt, a new government will be in charge, and the powers that be will realize that they can't afford to upgrade our electrical grid to handle charging all those electrical vehicles.

Won't it be reassuring to have only electric fire trucks, ambulances, snow plows, tow trucks, and other emergency vehicles in the future. Lets ban all gasoline/diesel/natural gas generators as well.

I hope they add airliners to their list of banned carbon burning vehicles. Lets start with our witless leader in Ottawa government aircraft. The ignorant should lead by setting an example for all of us to follow....

Aircraft and all ocean going cargo ships, that should bring things to a standstill.

Yup, get ready for $500 transmission and distribution charges on your power bills. We’re already changing out conductors that are running too hot due to a few wind/solar farms. Someone’s gotta pay for it.

AESO issued an emergency alert yesterday for Albertans to conserve power. Imagine how a heat wave will go if we have to power ALL our vehicles yet. Already a lot of Tesla’s I hope the Tesla drivers are doing their part by parking or taking the bus so no one dies in the heat.

No doubt. There were just advisories on using less power consumption between 4-7 pm to help the grid. Makes you wonder what kind of infrastructure will be needed going forward to charge Elon's toys....

I don't think you will have to worry about the electric grid powering all these cars, because if the agenda 2030 folks go through with their plans, alot of us will be too poor to own a vehicle or we will have to rent one from the government to use when there isn't a climate lockdown in place

You know, sadly, that's not too far of a stretch, based on the incredible changes in government and society that we've seen over the past few years.

Thumbs down politician and their promise...

this is the spend now and paid later policy , like credit cards.

when the time come, they will just kick it down the road . meanwhile they keep collecting their carbon tax .
