I managed to get my weekly long run in yesterday morning before it got too bad. Over the 30km run I stopped at the water tap on the side of a school,2 picnic parks, a cemetery and two sprinklers that people on running by the sidewalk. They were all wonderfully refreshing.

We'll be the judge of that.

Pic and make it a poll.

Ha. Reminds me of the last few years of Edmonton speedway. A single gal walking the gauntlet, only to be graded by the drunken crowd. All in fun, but pretty demeaning.

Lol I hear ya fellow, this is no bra and short shorts weather for the wife, things ain't all bad lol.

Work can get a little miserable though, especially night shift. To hot to sleep good during the day then arrive to an ugly facility that hates the heat. Hopefully hang on and get things turned around by midnight and then try and get all the stuff done you usually do in half the time. Rinse and repeat.

If they can make heated vests, mitts, etc., is there some reason they can't make AC gitch? Sure would stop the strange looks at work when I lift one leg sideways while standing or do deep knee bends doing a conversation.

-3 here this morning, might cap out at 10 for a high today. I call this Karma, I spent all of January, Feb and march bragging about how hot it was and now I am stuck working through Argentinas winter. Maybe I can sneak away for a day for some sledding or snowboarding to say I rode every month of the year.

We use vests with freeze packs when working in hot conditions like boiler houses. Similar to this. https://www.amazon.ca/Cooling-Lightw...46278449&psc=1

No one is complaining that their butter is too hard at room temps this week.

My son is on the Shuswap this week with friends. Said it's going to be 38 to 40 ish all week. He says they have A/C on the boat. That's good, when we house boated many years back, we hit hot weather and it was not fun during the heat of the day.

This is too hot for me, I would retire in the Yukon long before a beach. Gonna have to think about A/C in the house one of these days.

It’s now already 33.

Lovin it. Beautiful, arid, dry heat. Everything dry fast. No AC in house. Excellent sleep. Wife, and cat are miserable. Me drank half a Gatorade, popped on the sunscreen. Good to go 8 hours In sun. Drink a few beverages along this time frame. +40c bring it on. 👍👍

Loving the heat, never have had air conditioning and reside in the southern part of the province. I spend the majority of my day outside and would pass for a Mexican already this year.

Stay hydrated and enjoy the summer as they seem to get shorter each passing season.

Well if you are “with me”- then I should be sitting on your deck, drinking your lemonade and smoking whatever you smoke….

I hate winter.

I could live in 30 degree plus weather all year.

My first real job was wrapping cherry red rebar at Stelco. Pounding down salt tablets. Billets out of reheat rolled down at increasing speeds. Catch the flying knife and spaghetti into the air. Enjoyed it so much I stayed for a 4 year apprenticeship.

My wife thinks I'm spoiling the dog by putting ice cubes in her water bowl. I think the dog was spoiled long before that
