Surface/tool grinder help

I picked up what I would call a surface or a tool grinder that has the name of “The Stevens Company of Galt” Anyone know anything about this company or this grinder? From the limited information online, it sounds like they are out of Ontario and this grinder may be fairly old. It seems like a heavy well built unit and I was planning on revising it to a 2x72 belt surface grinder, but don’t want to change anything until I kinda know the history of this thing. Don’t know how to post a picture, a long shot, I know.

Born and raised in galt before it amalgamated with preston and hespeler to become cambridge i had never heard of stevens co but a quick google search shows under machinery manufacturers

It's an oldie alright it would be hard to find a manual
