Canada's 11th province....Scotland???
Anyone else reading or hearing anything about this? 
I thought this was an April fools joke, apparently not.
Last I heard Turcs and Caico's was attempting.
If we could cut out Onterrible and Quebec, shove them into the ocean and slide in the others that would be ok maybe....

Very true however I'm not so sure about a horde of hairy men in skirts playing bagpipes .... the missing link between noise and music .......

Canada is too spread out (geographically, and ideologically) to be just one country already.
I think we should looking to shrink, not expand.
Ideally, my county would secede. And then I think we could invade and conquer the special areas without much trouble.

The folks living in "special" areas may not be numerous, but I wouldn't count them out too fast if it came to a fight.

Now let's not be hasty to reject them, if I'm not mistaken that is where scotch whisky comes from.......  I see some real benefits to them joining us.

If they joined Canada, they'd have to follow Canadian laws so I suspect I would have some land claims as a hereditary Scotsman whose indigenous ancestors were cleared off of their traditional lands after the English violated their agreed upon treaties in the 1700's.
