Default Barrio fly lines

After hearing about these lines, on another fishing forum, and not wanting to spend close to a $100 on a Rio Gold line, I thought I would at least take a look at these lines. They ship from Scotland and have free worldwide shipping.
I ended up buying a GT90 6wt.f floating line. It took 2 weeks to get here, and cost me $47 cdn. I spooled it up and the first thing I noticed is that it didn't seem to have any memory coils it just layer out nice and flat.
It is very quiet while going through the guides. It floats very well and is a very easy line to get distance out of. The colour is called mushy pea, I think that is the only choice in a GT90 line, but comes in a couple other colours if you buy the GT 125. In my opinion there is nothing the expensive line have over this Barrio line. If you are in the market for a new line and want to save a good chunk of change have a look at their website.I already have another one on order,
Great value for the money

I've been eyeing Barrio mallard fly line for 4 years now but never ordered. People are raving about them all over Europe.

The guy behind these lines also builds some good looking rods.

Default Barrio

I usually fish high end Rio Or SA lines In my opinion this Barrio GT 90 line is on par with the best of them at half price.
They have quite a few lines to choose from, and there are good write ups about each of them on their website. For $47 can. To my door I am very impressed with this line.

One thing I did forget to mention is these lines do not come with welded loops, I just put a braided loop on, and I am fine with that. The price difference and performance more than make up for thar one shortfall.

Get some 1/8 shrink tube and put your own loops on Just melt the shrink tube let cool and cut the shrink tube off and you have a welded loop I think I paid 1.89 for a foot look it up in you tube super easy.Do they make a indicator line?

Thanks Spurly! Great options, seeing as lines are steadily increasing in price. Nice to find good line without such a hit to the wallet.
Will check out the website tonight!
