Default Which Korker replaceable soles are best?

Goes out to anyone who uses or has experience with korker boots and their replaceable soles. The Fishin Hole has a rebate on right now where if you buy a new pair of their wading boots you can get a free pair of replaceable soles so my question is which soles should I go with? I'm thinking about getting the red side boots and they come with the compressed felt sole and I was thinking about putting the Klingon studded soles on as well. any thoughts?

One of the best soles in my humble opinion would be the rubber with the big studs - not sure they make them anymore as I stopped buying Korkers due to there poor quality.

Just wanted to say that there are recommendations to not use felt soles anymore due to the transfer of diseases between water bodies. Personally I've only ever used the rubber soles. I would recommend the studded soles.

Not only recommendation, supposedly illegal to use felt in the national parks(Jasper, Banff, Waterton) now.

I would be buying rubber these days, probably only a matter of time before they ban felt outright here in AB...

I have tried studed soles on rubber and felt. Both work ok in the water on slippery rocks. But get them on a dry rock out of the water and you might as well be wearing ice skates. I haven't tried the lug soles but I can't see it being any better. Rubber is ok in some of the mountian streams where alge isn't a big deal. But sorry you aren't catching me in the bow without felt. Mud and snow are also crappy with just felt on. I would just get another felt set for other streams and one set for the bow like I have done.

Thanks for the input everyone. Turns out the boots I purchased came with felt and klingon soles so I will be sending away for the rubber studded soles with the rebate. I know that the felt soles are frowned upon and banned in areas but bleach kills an awful lot if you're diligent enough to soak them so I'm not afraid to use them where legal. And I'll have other options now in the parks and watersheds that ban felt.
Thanks again.

I as well purchased last year some studded felts and I found they slipped instead of gripped climbing onto large rocks getting out of the water. Also found them to be like skates on dry flat floors. Don't like them. Will either use just pure felt with cleaning from water to water, or find some good rubber ones, but it wont be the same as just regular felt in the slippery rock areas.
