Rifle Scopes are meant to be aiming devices, not a substitute for not buying good binoculars and using them.

Trades I would interested in:
- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

Bullets can’t be taken back once the trigger is pulled, always be 100% confident in your target and what’s behind it.

When doing a slow stalk on a fresh track always stop and watch your back track. Deer and elk like to circle back.

For white tail, sunrise and sunset can provide some amazing results.

But I have shot just as many at mid day.

Everyone says hunting isn't about the kill, which is pure BS, no kill it was just a pleasant walk in the bush.

The best hunts are when the target is down, I agree. I think most guys are simply encouraging others to enjoy the entire experience- including close calls and failures. Without those moments, the thrill of success is diminished.
