Default Sheep Boots: To Insulate or Not to Insulate....

Well here I am again. I have a very narrow foot and I am getting rid of my Zamberlan Tofane's as a result. Blister central on my heels....
I just received my Kenetrek Mountain Extreme Narrow 400's in the mail from BC. So far I like the fit. They are 400 gram insulation. The question to all you boys and girls pounding ridges, for early season do you rock insulated or non insulated boots? I have to decide pretty soon here and thought I would throw it out there.
Thanks!

I prefer non insulated for both early and late season hunts as do my hunting partners. I feel the boots just fit better imo.

400 gram insulated. I’ve done most of my sheep hunts in rubber boots and one hunt wearing cowboy boots. Ahh the good old days.

I use my 400's all seasons, but both pairs are super comfy. Don't really feel I need non-insulated. If it gets super cold I'll use my 1000's.

I have those same boots only not insulated. Mg feet stay warm enough if your hiking around and wearing a good quality sock. When it gets colder I bust out my Schnees pack boots.

Non insulated for sure. Insulated are too dang hot unless it's -20

I run non insulated in everything until -20 and sitting in a stand type hunts. Comfort and warmth in the non insulated are way better for my sweaty feet.

I always run insulated. My feet typically run cold, so I feel it helps.
