Blank big game tags?
I was talking to a couple of buddies the other day, and the topic of big game tags came up. Can you get blank tags issued to you by mail instead of going in and buying them at a vendor. Reason is, last fall I went to Canadian Tire the night before I was going hunting to get my tag, and they were sold out. Thanks for your help. Have a great weekend.

I think you can order them online. I always just buy mine way in advance for this same reason.

Yes, I got mine mailed to me last season. From the relm:
There are multiple options to obtain the paper tags:
1. Order tags through the mobile App:
In the App, select the menu icon (three horziontal lines on the top left), then select Order Tags. Enter your information and the number of tags you are requesting.
You will receive your tags in 7 to 10 business days.
2. Order tags on AlbertaRELM.com:
Go to the Contact Us page and select Order Tags in the Problem/Question dropdown.
Provide your complete mailing address in the Details section so that your order can be processed immediately.
Include the number of tags you would like sent to you.
Complete the remaining items in the form.
Click Submit Form.
You will receive your tags in 7 to 10 business days.
3. Order tags by calling the AlbertaRELM.com Help Desk at 1-888-944-5494:
Be ready to provide the representative with your full name, mailing address and the number of tags you are requesting.
You will receive your tags in 7 to 10 business days.
4. Pick up tags free of charge at an Issuer location:
Locate a local issuer in your area using the Issuer search tool.
It is recommended to contact the Issuer before visiting to confirm their operating hours.

Ordering them online is great, I usually order 10 before the season starts left overs you can use the next year they dont expire or give to other people. If you have a smart phone you can get the app and no longer need to carry paper copies of the licences. You can also have a blank in your pack and with sell service purchase a tag from the field. Pretty handy if your camped remote filled your deer tag and want to keep hunting for other species you didn’t expect to find.

I’ve never had a vendor sell out before. I always load up with tags though. As many as they’ll give me usually 10 or so

Requested 10 tags from the Relm Order Tags page,
And a follow up email saying they would be sent out in the next day, est 10 days aprx delivery.
That was a month ago, Those never arrived.
So I request them again today.
Anyone have issues with requested tags not arriving?

i ordered 20 tags and they showed up about 10 days later. they come with the wires too.
Makes it real easy to buy your tags, dont have to go to a dealer to get them anymore.
another option is if you are at Can tire you can just walk up a grab some blanks off the desk. They are free.

Yup. Per above ordered online. Crane in a week. Or next time you at Cabelas ask for some blank tags.

Normally grab half a dozen blank tags at Cabelas when I pick my normal General white tail tag. They give you as many as you want and they are free of charge or course.

Order them right from the relm app. Very easy and I've found they come fast.

I always order mine online. Have had the odd order not show up. If it isn't there after 15 days I just place the order again. One time got a double up but the system usually works fine. I started ordering them when you could first start buying licenses on line because I didn't find the Canadian Tire very helpful and it was easier than arguing. Been doing it that way ever since and that has to be at least 15 years, maybe more.

I ordered 20 myself online as well. If im not mistaken it said maximum 100 probably wouldn't be a bad idea but we are due for a tag color change soon aren't we?

With both kids hunting this year I ordered 50 this spring for the first time just before draws came out. Received them with wires about 2 weeks after I ordered them, worked good!
