Default Cannabis usage linked to a 42% higher stroke risk and 25% higher heart attack risk

https://newsroom.heart.org/news/cann...nd-stroke-risk

While still subject to ongoing research, it does suggest a linkage between cannabis use and serious health issues.

The study was based upon 430,000 adults so it’s a pretty large cohort which was only possible due to legalization.

More and more research is coming out.

Another report says that smoking pot is not much different than smoking cigarettes on the lungs except pot has THC.

Sorry, that's irrelevant, only smoking tobacco is bad for your health.

Did anyone expect anything different? I mean lets get seriously, your inhaling smoke into your lungs and essentially everywhere inside your body. According to the study most people smoked it. Smoking anything isn't good for you.

Smoking pot is bad for our health?
Huh, who'da thunk it.

I'll bet the next think they 'discover' is that excessive use kills brain cells.

Still won't stop people who are addicted from quitting. Especially when the Federal gov't made it legal, and the provinces makes a killing off of it.
Kinda reminds of cigarettes.

Not surprising - whenever I have a gummy, I end up eating like a 6 year old for a few hours.

So smoke is harmful to people's health, go figure, and pot smoke stinks. So the solution is to make THC into gummies or THC oils to bake into good old brownies. All in the primary effort of the legalization legislation by Trudeau to keep cannabis out of the hands of kids. It sure got him a lot of votes is all I know.

The smoke is bad of course but eating the whole house and not having the ab ition to get off ya’ butt probably contributes too. Me, I don’t do that stuff because it made me addicted to coke floats
