Default Anyone know who is hiring level 1 weld inspectors?

Just wrote my open book code and practical about 10 days ago. If all goes well I should be certified under CSA W59, W47.1 and 178.2. Also a red seal journeyman welder.

I applied for a few jobs already but they want salary expectations. I have no idea what the range is for level 1. If anyone knows the ball park of what I should ask for or who is hiring any help would be greatly appreciated. It's hard to find any concrete info on the Internet. It would be nice to get some first hand knowledge. Thanks.

Check out Flint, they have a big project at firebag and I heard rumours that they have a huge contract right in Sherwood park to build some modular packages.

As for what you need to ask for as a wage depends on your experience. There is more to inspecting than just looking at welds.
