mountain moose 2020
best thing in 2020 so far. Mountain Moose, 520lbs of boned out meat 45km from the truck.
Funny how you see more caribou, grizz and goats than any other game in the mountains. And they call it managed.

Congrats on the great moose. That picture of the downed animal and you guys and the horses with the mountains in the background is one of the best field harvest photos I’ve seen in a long time. Great job to capture the moment like you did.

That's a 24k gold plated memory with diamond hi-lights right there....a great bull, in a beautiful spot. Dang but that's beautiful!
I hope you had a campfire with good whisky in hand to put the perfect finish on it. Well done sir!

Thanks
Thanks everyone, didn't think there would be many people interested in a ol mountain moose hunt.
Sure was some whiskey that night, I prefer in the tent with the draft set at 90 degrees though!
It was so windy the calling wouldn't travel far so it was more of a spot and stalk hunt. Hard to find firewood in the willmore camps after sheep opener, seems like alot of sign of people where there this year. To bad I had to find a bunch of garbage too, although there was a fitbit in there that I wear now!
