Coyote numbers...
Anyone know what the coyote population is like in 536? I seen one the other day while bear hunting so put my 30-06 crosshairs on him. Gonna give it a go at trying to tan it myself and see. Fur is nice, nit worth much as it’s not his winter fur, and has a fist size exit hole. 30-06 is a bit big I guess. Yesterday I seen two more while driving out to High Level. Had rifle but wife was with me and she was more into pictures of it. Had this been In NS Where I am from, I would have dropped all of them as the numbers are getting crazy down there.
I don’t see me as being a big fan of the tanning hides, but not a big fan of letting coyotes run around either as I have seen the destruction of game they can do.
