Default Lost tags

So I had my tags that I just purchased in a plastic bag from Cabelas. My wife then proceeds to throw the bag out a couple of days later, with my tags STILL in it. Can I get replacement tags or am I F@&%#D for hunting season?

Yes you can get replacement tags. but you used to have to go to a F&W office. Win relm may have the info you need.

you can reprint your licences from here, tags you can get mailed to you. You may be able to have tags reprinted at a store that sells them ( i think https://www.albertarelm.com/licensing.page

You have to go to a fish and wildlife office and sign an affidavit swearing that you lost them. Then they can re issue your tags.

That is no longer the process.

As written in the important changes in the regulations.

To improve overall service, tags that are lost or stolen can now be replaced at a licence issuer for a $11.00 replacement fee per licence.

Thanks for pointing that out. I wonder how many people age going to take advantage of that and shoot a second deer since they no longer have to look an officer in the eye while getting a replacement tag.
