those "flower" heaters burn too hot to be comfortable even on the lowest setting as far as i have found.

i find that i like to just take the chill off because once you're in a tent out of the wind it's not so bad after half an hour.

I think they burn cleaner Ken. for me it is the noise factor

Harpeesh or what ever online told me they've changed the add as all the mh18s were sold out. The adds are updated as inventory changes and I am getting the mh18, if it's not the mh18 amazon will cover the costs to return ship.

Hope everyone gets the unit they wanted. The one I bought locally is the smaller unit I believe (MH9BX), I think I bought mine on sale for $120 in CT. So either way it was a really good deal. Happy to help and save a few people some $$$.

I used that chat feature to see if I would get mh18s like I ordered. The guy said it was an error and I would get the mh9bx. My order still shows mh18s as preparing to ship.

Is the smaller one a good deal at that price?

I did the same as Bassett; I should be seeing mine tomorrow. My order says MH18B, so it had better be that one... Although truth be told, it's not a bad price for the MH9B. Not sure if I'll return it if it doesn't turn out to be the MH18B...

Me too. I placed my order early yesterday morning and selected free shipping. My order says the MH18B and my shipping notification also says MH18B.

Well looks like everything amazon told me was a lie, shipping confirmation says mh18, the contents how ever is not.
