Default Advice on Maligne Lake; end of August?

Anyone have some advice for fishing Maligne Lake in late August? I have experience fishing the lake June-early July, but I am leading a party of 10 on the very last week of August. I have no idea if the brookies are spawning by then (I assume they are at least prepping). I have no idea if the fish migrate up or down the lake (towards home bay or towards Coronet?). I have 2 days at Coronet campground, 2 days at Fishermans. I don't think the chironomid bite will be on as much as it is in the spring. Lorne Currie always told me that the fishing slows down in August.

I just want to get my friends and kids into some fish. There will be spin and fly fisherman, so any tips on any method or general areas of the lake to concentrate would be most helpful. Don't need your secret methods or hotspots, I am just saying I am quite inexperienced fishing the lake at that particular time of year, could use some general pointers, particularly on what will the brookies be doing.

Appreciate any help!

From my limited experience she can be quite turbid in August from creeks dumping in glacial melt (maybe it clears up near the end I'm not so certain). The majority of Brookies will be staging at the far end of the lake getting ready for the spawn. Chironomid's are done by mid-July. Streamers are my go to. Small spoons, spinners, plugs, will catch fish alternatively.

No real secrets or spots for maligne...
use the same stuff as June/July, sometimes rap's and flatfish will work better when the usual go to's aren't working.

Brookies will be stacking at the south end.

Head up there and toss a hook in the water, try not to use lead or bait.

Its a great fishery, how ever the 'advice' its at the bottom of the lake. Try a little harder than a half fast post.
