Default limbsaver recoil pad

Does anyone know where in or around the Edmonton area one can buy a Sims Limbsaver recoil pad or barrel deresonator? So far I can get the deresonator at SIR and the recoil pad at Cabela's. Was hoping for something a bit closer.

If P&D dosen't have one that fits, Bashaw sports also stock them and will throw it in the mail for you. 780-372-4440

Default Limb saver

Yes P&D has a good selection of these pads, and with the deresonator you must be fairly precise if you are planning to use it one inch from the muzzel. I have used mine on a 22-250, 257AI and a 25-06 with fairly amazing results with factory ammo. FS

What is a deresonator? I think I know but what is it's purpose? Does it help in reducing much of the recoil?

Default barrel deresonator

A deresonator is slid onto the rifle barrel and it dampens the vibration when you shoot. This is supposed to give better accuracy. The trick is to slide it on, shoot a group, if it doesn't improve accuracy then slide it a bit farther down the barrel. Hence finding the 'sweet spot'. Some have claimed that it made the groups worse while others have had much better grouping.
