Default What is a cheap place to get an Inducer motor online for a bryant 95i

My inducer motor went on my bryant 95i furnace. The prt seems to retail for close to 800 from dealers but there must be an aftermarket model for it? Dealers are telling me it is a two stage furnace? And therefore the motor cannot be replaced with a generic one. This seems false. Any plumbers on here model number is 355bav042060ac8a.

My estimates for repair have been from 900-1200.

Default Inducer Motor

Try Amre Supply

They have a web site WWW.amresupply.com where they have a phone number to call if you need help and can order direct. I have used them a few times and they have been great to work with. They have a couple outlets in Edmonton and I think in B.C. too

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're going to be looking right around the 800 mark. No, there is not a generic or after market replacement. Inducers are surprisingly calibrated, to bring in proper air for combustion, and generate the correct static pressure to operate the pressure switches for proper furnace control. Furthermore, I would strongly advise against trying to alter or modify something to "work" as the results could lead to fire, CO poisoning, etc.
