Default Elk hunting books

Been doing lots of of research this season will be my first season trying for elk. I read every article I could find online and watched tons of YouTube videos but am looking for some books that are out there that I could read. If anyone has any recommendations that would be awesome. Thanks in advance

Try podcasts as well. Randy Newberg has very good info on the seasonal needs of elk and how it changes thru the hunting season.

and they're free.

I dont have any boots that hunt elk lol but I do have a set of irish setters that i wear to hunt lots of things, comfy. Boots are a tough thing to recommend as they are so personal.

my advice is pay for and use the elk101 website. Excellent format and lots of information even for a veteran elk hunter.

the elk101 site has "elk university" its fantastic and well worth it I think its $100 but there is a discount if you use a code from the rich outdoor podcast but i cant remember what it was. you will have to go to the podcast and take a listen.
