Default Bow hunting vets

Hi I'm new to bow hunting this year and reading the regs. Top left of page 42 states the need of a bow hunting permit and a general or special tag. I find it kinda odd you need a bow hunting permit for archery hunting plus a tag. Yet for general season you don't need a "firearm" permit. Seems like a cash grab IMO.

Anyways just want to check if I'm reading that right?
I wish to hunt antlered moose in wmu339 this year. To do this I need a bow permit and my general tag !

Thanks in advance for any help

Yes you will need both plus your wildlife certificate.
