I think the answer is 'NO', but...
I was drawn for antlered moose in a zone with a calling and a November season, Can I bow hunt antlered moose during the bow season with this tag?
The Regs seem to say "no" but its not very clear.

yes you can bow hunt in your zone during the archery season but as soon as the early calling season opens up you cannot until November again.

I am curious what zone has an archery only season and in addition a calling and late season split?
If this is the case like has been mentioned you can only hunt the archery only season with a bow, then hunt one of the two seasons you were actually drawn for.....with your legal weapon of choice.

For example, a zone is all draw for a moose. This would include archery, calling and late. Whatever season you were drawn for (calling or late), you can hunt your season plus the bow only season.

Yes biggmac,
unless that has changed, it has been like that since moose split season came in.
Northern half of the province anyways.
But like some have said, unsure if OP's zone is one where this new specific bow draw is only valid.

Lots depending on the zone some archery seasons are only a few days ( August 25 - August 31 ) or as mentioned August 25 - Sept 23 then the early season draws until the November late season draws.
Same can be said for cow elk draws regardless what draw season you were drawn for you can hunt the archery only season in the same zone.

If the season requires a draw it usually doesn't matter what weapon you use BUT YOU MUST HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN THE DRAW.
Some people think that using archery gear is a free pass around the draw system....that is not the case.
The archery only season allows additional opportunity to those who want to use a bow prior to certain draw season opening, but once the draw seasons are open the individuals must have been successful in the draw to continue to hunt.
Remember in Alberta there is no such thing as "rifle season" there is archery only and general seasons....some of which require a draw if you are to participate.

No a bow can be used during the rifle season. But the rifle season rules would apply pertaining to harvesting your animal
