Got out yetserday for a few hours, and was fortunate enough to find my first ever matching set, and a unique and cool WT shed.. Looking forward for this snow to melt and getting out some more.

Snow
Congrats on the matched set. We missed the last snowstorn where I'm at but there is still 2-3 feet of snow on the ground here. Can't wait until it is gone. Very tough going looking for antlers.

I saw a 4pt mulie rack the other day that would go an easy 180. But they weren't sheds, he was still wearing them. Saw him in the median of the road about 5 mins from home in the city here. Drove by him, he was just waiting for cars to pass so he could finish crossing the road. These urban deer sure know what they're doing.

Its funny I see the "locals" using the crosswalks all the time I dont know if its just the way the roads look to them or if they see the lines as a game trail or what, but 80-95% of the time I see em cross the road, they are using the cross walks lol

Funny, this is the same general location that I saw the biggest typical 4 point that I've ever seen. Seems as long as they can avoid the cars, the genetics stay good.

I should have gone out last week when the weather was nice and we had 8-12 inches of snow melt off.. we had a wicked storm the past few days and we got about a foot of fresh snow, add in the 50KM winds and there are some pretty crazy drifts. I took my sibe out today but all we did end up playing (well, moreso him than me) since the snow's so darn deep. There's quite a few mulies that pass through our yard and like the little pockets of bush. Saw a few day or two old tracks that had been mostly snowed in, but that's about it. When I was up past my waist in snow and going no where fast, we turned around and went home.
an older track meadered through here..
There's a dugout around that plot of bush and there are usually Geese around so it should make for a nice spot to try my hand at Geese this fall.

I saw a decent sized Mule buck east of Mcgregor lake today, is it normal for the bucks to still have their head gear at this time of year?
