Default Washing coyotes

So i'm new to fleshing and boarding and I have a question on washing. I shot a coyote and the fur and hide were blood stained so I washed it by hand. I have it hung fur out with a fan on it trying to dry the fur before i flip it and board.

My question is could I board it with the fur a little wet for a day or 2 to dry the hide then finish drying the fur once i flip it?

Or is it better to leave it hung fur out over night to dry then flip it in the morning and board?

Any insight is much appreciated. Thanks.

Shake and snap the pelt to get most of the water out of the fur and then let a fan blow on it for about an hour. Board it fur in over night and turn it fur out tomorrow. Any longer than that and the hide will be too dry and rip when you turn it. The fur will dry in a couple of days if you have a strong fan on it.

I flesh then wash in cold water with dog shampoo then rinse in clean water hang then wring out as much access water as possible by grabbing up near head and squeeze down towards tail,i hang overnight then board fur in next morning,no fans at this time for me,i keep my garage at 50-60 F as this is supposed to be a preferred temperature, next morning I turn fur out then lots of fans, have yet to tear one during this process, but keep eye on hide if your using fans when leather side out and higher drying temperature as leather will dry quicker and turning will have to be done sooner IMO,cheers, hope this helps
