Victoria Fancy

Real Deal Meats

Widynowski's Sausage House

K & K Foodliner

All the above do an excellent job. If I had to choose just one it would always be Victoria Fancy simply because I have had a lot of their product and it has always been excellent. K & K is not my favorite as I find their stuff kinda bland, but many close friends love it. All are exceedingly clean, and the first two are good people who have taken my commercial foods students to do their work experience placements, so I have been in their shops and see firsthand how clean their operations are. I can also tell you that the first two DO NOT mix clients' meats as some shops do.

Real deal is the best for making sausage pepperoni etc
Their jalapeno cheddar smokies will turn any non hunter into a believer
I cant keep the hawaiian stuff for very long either. Everyone wants it

I Second Real Deal Meats. Very clean establishment. he only takes in as much wild game as he can process. so you get your game back very quickly (usually within 4-5 days) and his prices are the best around. .75 cents a pound cut and VACUUM sealed. No paper here

With the prevalence of CWD, I wonder how long butchers will even be allowed to accept wild meat.

Waterfowl? You have names of reputable cutters ^^^^^ but I strongly encourage you to learn how to do this yourself. Your own cutting will be at lest as good as any butcher and it's a rewarding thing to do.

Myself and 5 others brought 6 wild pigs to real deal meats, we found hair on the bacon slices.

Sure his pepperoni and smokies taste great and the turn around time was quick (1 week) but I don't enjoy picking through my butchered meat.

Never had an issue with tofield packers and our beef, no idea if they do wild game though.

I am guessing he is talking about a butcher who will turn his birds into tasty treats, not clean them

"Loves" in Vegreville.

They are also a slaughter house and will take game with the hide on. Many seniors depend on their service.
