Default Hunter Dave

Just in front of my place , narrow Beaver run , below the dam.

Reason I posted here is you are the only one who knows where I'm talking about.
Been here 15+ years & always meant to cast a line.....but the lagoons are dumped into the creek yearly.
Likely die if a person eats a fish ?

Geeze, I would have never thought that you’d find a pike in there! It’s basically a drainage ditch for goodness sakes. Ya just never know but It wouldn’t be my first choice of a place to fish......lol.

Default pike

Pike like to spawn in the smallest/narrow creeks. In old days many farmers harvested their fish with a pitch fork from these narrow channels.

This one is about 16 - 18" C&R. Just above the dam. Had seen a number of swirls form it feeding. Lots of Minnows to keep it happy.
