Default SHipping loaded ammo from the USA

Is it possible? What is involved?

Only if you can find a manufacturer that has an export license from the State Department.

And you have the Canadian IIC and the state depart permit which is $250 to start and must be applied for through an FFL holding a liscense(starts at $2500)
Really only practical if you are bringing in truckloads at a time.

and yet a google search says that UPS can bring ammo across. How can you possibly make sense of the rules.

I guess with all the proper permits in place they can.....same as Air Canada will bring guns across......

UPS doesnt make the rules.....thats why. They may be able to ship it, same as other carriers can carry firearms across the border, etc. but they arent the ones that should be contacted via regulations.
