Default Mounts for Brno 1

I have a Brno 1 and am trying to mount a Leupold 2 x 7 x 33 VX scope . I tried Weaver and Leupold medium rings but the bolt does not clear the scope. The rifle has dovetail 11mm groves. Any suggestions? I would like to keep the scope as low as I can.
Thank you.

That scope has a pretty trim eyepiece. Higher rings are probably the only solution.

Get the bolt handle modified, otherwise you will have to mount the scope pretty high. That really is the only two choices if you want a scope.

I used the Warne (.22) rings on all my cz rimfires they work well.. They are able to fit both the 11mm rail or the newer 3/8" style rail ..

Trades I would interested in:
- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

I like the Talleys on my CZ's. PR always has them in stock

Tally on my CZ's, they are high enough to clear the bolt

What works on CZ will not necessarily work on the Brno 1 and 2. The bolt angle on the Brnos is different.

Default Just my opinion

Had a few CZ Lux with Leupolds mounted and they were deadly but the scopes were a bit high for my liking. bought the Tikka T1X last year and was so impressed I sold my last CZ this past summer. Picked up a mint Brno model 2 a couple months ago and have no intention of scoping it. Those 200 meter open sights have a reputation for being very accurate and as such I am going to save it for those closer shots. One scoped and one with open sights as you can never have too many 22 rifles.
