Default Offshore Planer Board Screw

Hi fellow Outdoorsmen,

I have a standard size offshore planer board, and lost the screw for the release clip (front). I think the screw is a 6/32 x 1/2”, but am unsure. Does anybody know where to get a replacement, and if that’s the right screw? (Preferably in Edmonton).

Thanks,
Quigley

You have both Left and right boards? Check the other and see. That said, it is I believe #6/32 x 5/8". Sorry, to late to run out and check mine.

Should be able to get what you need at any hardware store, Rona, Lowes, Home Depot, Home hardware, Canadian Tire, or fastener store etc. Best to use stainless. Wont be to hard to find.

Edit: checked online and it is #6/32 x 5/8".

Do you use a mast?

I purchased a Berts double mast a few years ago to run my own home made boards ….. mounted in front of boat and it seems to be far more stable that way …. just curious

I think he is talking about inline planer boards.

I would just take the whole thing to edmonton nut and bolt - they have every single screw you could ever want.
