Default Russian .303 rifles

The ad is from a 1966 IRS catalogue. As I remember, they were also sold by Sears. Got to see a couple. What they are, is Russian Tokarevs converted to .303. Does anyone out there have one?

They were SVT40 rifles re chambered.
