Default Deep cycle battery

Just wondering what brand, store you guys are buying your deep cycle batteries? Looking at adding one to the boat to power a trolling motor, fish finder, etc.
Thanks for your time!

Costco batteries are pretty hard to beat for the average joe. 9 years on my oldest Kirkland deep cycle and still going strong. In around ~$100 per battery from what I recall comes with a pro-rated warranty for 5 years (or is it 7 years). Regardless tough to beat.

I've had good luck with Interstate Batteries, I believe they also make Kirkland for Costco

All deep cycles have at most a one year warranty. Optimas have been good to me but so has Costco deep cycles and they are a wack cheaper. Keep them charged over winter and they will last a long time. Let them go flat and freeze, they all die right there.

Sounds like a trip to Costco is in order. Like a guy doesn't spend enough there haha

If you are in Red Deer, stop by The Battery Doctors. They have Optimas and Trojans.

I generally get maybe 3yrs out of one before performance tanks out. I also admit I don't take care of them either. I let them freeze over winter. I don't have a garage. I buy cheepo ones from Walmart or anywhere that may have a sale going. Even taken care of, I've found they don't perform very well after a couple years anyways. Been a while, but I think I got my last one for my trolling motor from Walmart for about $80. I haven't bit the bullet, but I will one day. I suggest separate batteries for fish finder and trolling motor. It has caused me so much frustration in the past, running both off the same battery.
