Default Where to fish salmon with tuition and accomadation

Hello,
Am planning a visit to Calgary to stay with a Cousin in May/June 2015 for 4 weeks.
Would like to try Wild Salmon fishing, only ever fly fished for trout in small lakes.
I'm looking for someone to help/give tuition on how when and where to fish.
Looking for 2-3 days fishing with with two nights accommodation.
It's really important that I catch at least 3 Salmon!!!!
Any help or ideas greatly appreciated.

You will need to travel to British Columbia, the province to the west of Alberta. Google "BC salmon fishing".

Hey, it could be legit.

Whoa...tuff crowd,lol.
I'm guessing it IS in fact legit, albeit likely from a somewhat "geographically challenged" foreign tourist?
Anyhow..as mentioned Arthur, you won't find any salmon in Alberta nor within a 10hr drive minimum from Calgary. You need to go "over the hill" to BC coast....a good 10hr drive to Southern BC (ie;Chilliwack/Vancouver area) or 14-16hrs to N.BC(ie;Terrace/Kittimat)....Thompson R.,BC is in fact 1/2 that distance and as close to Alberta as any sea-run fish get,but to the best of my knowledge, you won't find any anadromous fish runs there at that time of year....good luck.

Coho were stocked in Cold Lake many years ago. Maybe he is just hopeful? Or maybe he meant perch versus salmon.

May - June is a tough period for west coast salmon fishing - July - Sept. much better.
Calgary is a thousand km and a couple mountain ranges east of salt water so a pretty long cast!
