Default Best game on the I phone when hunting

Just wondering what everyone thinks is the best game to play while sitting in a tree stand?

I think you need to be a little more proactive in your approach to hunting if you are so bored you are on your phone playing games.

I would be ticked if i looked over and saw my hunting buddy in his stand playing angry birds.

Why? Not like he's making any noise or spooking anything?

If there is someone with me its so they are a hunting buddy. Extra pair of eyes, whatever the reason. Not so they can play on their phone, he could do that at any other time. Its just a pet peeve of mine.
Guess my reply to your origional question would be angry birds.. Haha

Sometimes a buck can sneak right in on you with out you hearing it so if your not paying close attention to your surroundings and playing games you will miss out on a chance to take a buck Guaranteed.

LOL. This is SOOO true and I know this from first hand experience, sad to say. I was actually watching a cut line this year and somehow a buck walked right in on me and then off into the bush and I was rifle hunting. I know, I know its blasphemous. I still don't know how he did it but he did, deer are sneaky, especially big old bush bucks.

It is a balance, in the early nineties I would read a book, set up well ahead of time for the transition from bedding to feeding area but when we are hunting during the rut the phone/book is put down and replaced with a doe bleat, grunt tube, antlers for rattling and my situational awareness is extremely high. Different times of the hunting season dictate how I approach my stand set ups and how I act on stand, been known to set up in the fall well ahead of time and catch a nap...

I do not play games. But I do other stuff with the phone. This past season I had the phone out, using it and the only thing I could do when a buck snuck in was take a picture of it...

sounds like me.

Many times the phone is in camp or the truck. Ususally no service where I hunt anyway.

If a person is so bored on a hunt that they need entertainment they should maybe just park the truck, play on the phone and watch the road for animals. Then when a game animal scoots acroos the road they can sit and wonder why they didn't get a shot....unbelievable.

I don't need games if I'm sitting in the truck, I can listen to the radio

Best game on the I phone when hunting

- to see if I can keep it turned off until after the hunt is over.
Good sense of achievement when I win !
