I think I'll go to the shoot just to see how they compare

Like this? Cocked.........not loaded. This is an Excalibur commercial. Now, there is no benefit for this on a 3D shoot and who is going to walk around with a cocked and loaded crossbow? The others issue about crossbow arrows being hard on targets......why is this? I heard about this years ago, way before the rise of the 400fps crossbow. Arrows are typically .340 dia....the same as an A22 series arrow (22/64). Most bows are in the 250-400 class with very few of them shooting 400 fps and of those they really aren't the crossbow of choice for a 3D shoot. Myself.......I would be more concerned about ruining the fletching on the short 16 inch arrows I just made for my Excalibur Micro..........from shooting at soft targets
