2" Blazers with 2 degrees right hand offset.

Takes a dozen to get the hang of it, these should work fine though.

Nice!

I can tell your big time into contrast when you see those veins turn
red after a solid hit!

I'm planning on doing mostly blind hunting for birds this coming spring
and fall, so black is my favorite color this year.

I like the profile on these (I'd go with a 3" length in black) but don't
know how they do with noise with that shape ?
Fusions ...

The Fusions are awesome also..quiter than the Blazers due to slighter lower profile...

Well I'm going a little different angle. Started with some raw white turkey feathers and a fletch cutter. Have to figure out how to dye the cock feather. These will be for arrows for my bamboo backed Osage bow. Pics to follow.

I like the white fletching.... Looks good.

So I'm not crazy, the low profile 4" are quieter than blazers? I was shooting blazers at first and they would almost whistle to the target. Then I changed to new arrows that had the 4", and they were super quiet! Is this common? Or is it just me.

Cool! It's great to see feathers fletched.

5 out of the 12 blazers I just fletched didn't make it past the stick
test, so I'm rebuilding those guys today.
Think It may have been too fast a temp. drop in the house when I
finished the last 5. I'm using a wood stove for heat and I'm in a 2
story, gets chilly at night.

Post 'em up when you all get a chance love to see them.

Can be a lot of factors at play...
Pending on how the blazers were fletched...if Helical ...for sure
Even some of the high profile Blazers extreme offset where more audible...

Most four inch are lower profile...but even low profile 4 inch if helical can be noisier...

Most low profile 4" offset are pretty quite...

I use arrow wraps and 2" Blazers with 3* helical. With the boning helical jig. I haven't heard my arrows yet in a ton of shooting this year. Do you ever experience vane warp with the 4 inchers?

That would pend on a couple of factors such as rest and make of vane...
I use the worst known culprit of warped vanes...the Ugly Cookie [WB]...however the key is using a stiffer vane ...soft vanes will warp more...
I use the Duravane Savage made for the rough stuff...thousands of shots no warp...or wear...

One thing I do with the arrow wraps is rub them briskly with a wine cork to sort of push the bubbles out and warm them up a bit. Have you ever done this before and do you use wraps?
