Default Anyone target Ermine?

Wondering if anyone targets Ermine or do you guys just take them as a by catch from marten and such? If so can you share the set up maybe pics too. I was thinking of screwing a rat trap with a sardine on a leaning tree or should I set a box with a 110. Thanks

Used to catch lots of ermine. Use a box or can with a 110. Bait the trigger with a tainted piece of meat and put some in the back of the box or can. I used liver. Highly effective !!!

Don't usually target them or squirrels. Too much work for a
Buck or 2. Get some incidentals

I caught a few in weasel boxes with deer liver before they got buried in that big snow fall a few weeks ago. I kept the hind quarters from them to rub the scent on the boxes. I just picked up a package each of chicken gizzards and chicken liver which I have read that they can't resist. Gonna use anise oil as a scent lure. There seem to be a lot around here, I just haven't gotten to taking my boxes back out.
