Default Skinning and tanning a coyote hide.

Im new to this and i want to have a really nice coyote pelt with all the fur on and im not sure how to do it. I think i have an idea about how to skin it but i have no idea how to skin the head, or if i need to do something with the ears or what. If you have any advise about skinning it and/or tanning it let me know thanks.

There should be good online info about skinning and taxidermy of coyotes. The ears need to have the cartilage removed and the fat around the lips needs top be removed too. If you are planning to home tan the pelt, you need to make sure all of the hide has been properly fleshed and all fat removed, tails deboned. Taking the trapping course would teach you all of the proper techniques of pelt preparation. You Tube has lots of videos on skinning a coyote, taxidermy and tanning.
