Default short season

Well looks like my season got wrapped up this morning. Walked to the barn to do chores at 3 and ended up in ER. Not sure what's worse not being able to move or thinking about all the coyotes that wouldn't get caught. Made a good run anyways. Waiting for the xray tech to show up. Should have a pickup load when I'm able to pull my snares.

Default Coyotes

If youre going to be buggered up for awhile maybe you can find a local to go and pull your snares? Maybe someone from here can volunteer to head out for you.

Not sure where you are located but I might be able to help you out once a week to check snares if you wanted. PM me if you are interested. Hope you recover quickly.

Thanks for the offers. The missus can handle the line. It's just checking and packing dogs out till I can skin again

Got up at 3 walked across the road thru the ditch all covered in ice no problem. Checked on some calves and hit a smooth slick patch both feet went out and I came down flat on my back and head on some ruts. I ve always been able to catch myself but this happened like lighting. Boom I was down. Bruised and Tore my muscles across my lower back. Feels like someone has a pair of pliers on my flesh and is tearing at it. Because it's the lower back there's no move that doesn't hurt like a sum buck. Time to braid some rawhide.
